On August 8th, surrounded by family, friends, and our community, The Popcorn Lady celebrated its official grand re-opening in Acworth, Georgia. And if you’ve ever wondered what joy smells like… I’m pretty sure it’s a mix of buttery popcorn and funnel cake.
A Ribbon Cutting Filled with Heart
We kicked off the day with a ribbon cutting that honestly left everyone teary-eyed.
The Popcorn Lady's owner, Todd Webster lovingly dedicated the ribbon cutting to his daughter Hannah, who has been there with him every step of the way. And this space? It’s more than just a warehouse or office. It’s a space where carnival food magic is made.
Behind the Scenes at The Popcorn Lady
Guests were invited behind the scenes for a first look at how we do what we do. From prepping a wide variety of carnival food orders, to an introduction to our 40 flavors of popcorn and cotton candy, to organizing our event catering packages and party equipment rentals, everyone got a peek into the heartbeat of The Popcorn Lady. Visitors also had the chance to learn more about our popcorn flavors and explore how our event catering services come together for celebrations of all sizes.
A Celebration Complete with Carnival Favorites
Of course, no celebration would be complete without the food. And let me tell you, we went all out. Guests filled their plates with hot dogs, fried Oreos, funnel cakes, soft pretzels, walking nachos, and Hawaiian shaved ice. We watched as people sampled popcorn flavors they never knew existed. It felt like being a kid again… for all of us.
New Themed Catering Packages Revealed
We also introduced our new themed catering packages, like the cozy Movie Night Package and the tropical Tiki Hut setup. Additionally, guests were given information on our annual catering packages coming soon to our site, along with details on our party rentals designed to make event planning easier and more fun.
