Father's Day + Popcorn = Great Idea
Long time since we last spoke! It’s been a while since our last post, and we hope you haven’t missed us too much
We have been taking some time to make some amazing changes! We have recently moved to our very own building in Acworth, Georgia! We are still straightening things up and getting the place all pretty and popcorn-y for you… So keep an eye out for our grand opening event later this summer!
Given the new building, it will be easier than ever to pick up any prepackaged orders from the Acworth location, as our in-house production will take place there now! Speaking of, we just know that the fathers in your life would appreciate some delicious popcorn for Father’s Day. We have over 20 flavors to choose from, and they are all made fresh and in-house. Check them out here!
If you have been keeping up with our newsletter, you’ll know that our special item of the month is our Mexican Street-Style Corn! Any and all bookings confirmed during June will receive a 15% discount, so fill out a quote form and reach out today
Here are some fun facts about Elote in honor of our Item-of-the-Month :D
-
Elote has its origins in the streets of Mexico, going back centuries, when the Indigenous people of Mexico enjoyed corn, or maize, as an essential part of their diet.
-
A very similar dish goes by the name Esquites, rather than being served corn on the cob, the kernels are removed and prepared in chicken stock and Mexican herbs.
-
Street dishes, like Elote and Esquites, are staples in Mexico City. So much so, that it is often praised as one of the must-visit cities for street food!
-
We have also been keeping busy these past weeks, with events for the City of Atlanta, Chamblee Charter High School, and Piedmont Healthcare! We love getting out in the community, no matter the type or size of the event. We can’t wait to see where we’ll pop-up next!
